Sprout has the concept of site layouts: these are shared groups of components that are global to the site. Imagine being able to make a “Black Friday 2026” site layout, and switching changes the header, footer, promo banners, homepage, email pop up - all in one go. This is the benefit of a site layout.

Creating New Layouts

Go to Layouts > Site Layout. This is your default layout, the one that is already published. You’ll see required fields like Homepage, Header, Footer, as well as some optional components like Promo Banner. Either hit the + button at the top, or the ... in the bottom right and Duplicate the existing layout.

Changing Site Layouts

Go to Config > Global Config > and hit ... next to the Layout field to Replace the existing one. Publish this, and then go to the Deploy tab at the top, and redeploy your site. Full redeploys generally take about 5 minutes.
